Lee and I are very proud of our team. Powder Hounds is a family owned business, and our team is part of our family. We are very fortunate to have staff that is engaged and driven to provide the best experience for their students.
- Lee Perry - Director
Lee has been teaching skiing for over 60 years. Lee will not tell you, but his in one of the originators of adaptive skiing. Lee and a group of very close friends opened up the world of skiing with outriggers to both children and adults in the 1950’s. He is still passionate about furthering the adaptive programs in the Northwest and beyond.
Lee has also been a leader in furthering ski instruction in the Northwest, serving as President and an examiner with PSIA. He is indeed a treasure to skiing and the Northeast.
If you ever see him on the mountain, take the time to sit down with Lee and talk to him about skiing, and the mountain. You will not regret spending the time.
- Victor Perry - Director
- Victor has been teaching children and adults to ski for many years. He was fortunate to be raised in a skiing family in which both parents were Level III instructors. He has had the opportunity to ski and learn from some of the best instructors, racers, and coaches available, and today he uses that knowledge in a teaching style that is student-focused and based in skill development. His passion is to create a learning experience for his students and staff that is more than just learning to carve your skis through a turn.
- Courteney - Instructor
- I learned how to ski through Powder Hounds when I was in middle school and over the past 10+ years have fallen in love with the sport, beautiful nature, & the amazing team (more like a second family) of people I work with. Outside of ski school I work for a locally owned & women operated Portland handbag store called Queen Bee. Other passions include: fashion, film photography, hiking, & exploring the wonderful PNW!
